Arizona’s Desert Dark Honey

This is our rarest and darkest honey.  It is 100% pure honey from late summer/early fall desert flowers.  The dark honey only comes at the end of the season in our fall harvest.  Dark honey has been known to be the richest in phenols and anti-inflamatory properties.  As shown in the pictures, on the shelf it will look almost black, but when the sun shines through it or you pour it out, it is actually a dark amber or deep mahogany color. The flavor is rich and sweet, very delicious.

Our Honey is 100% Raw guaranteed

It is never heated above 115 degrees (the temperature of our summer heat). Our honey has many medicinal qualities because we don’t use pasteurization processes. Pasteurization kills all the beneficial microbes, this is not necessary since honey is antibacterial! Because of this our honey will naturally crystallize in cold weather. Just submerge into warm water and that will melt the crystals back to free flowing.

No Sugar or Corn Syrup Mixed in Our Honey!

Our bees are NEVER fed sugar or corn syrup. This is a common practice amongst beekeepers to take all the bee’s honey (honey is the bee’s food!) and replace with inferior table sugar or corn syrup. Both are toxic to the bees health. Also, they will mix the sugar with the honey! Store bought honey is often a mix of sugar and honey! In China, they will use rice syrup. Not with us! Our bees eat one thing and one thing only–honey!

No Drugs in Our Honey!

Allowing the bees to live how God intended (eating their own honey instead of sugar) keeps the bees healthy. We do not medicate our bees. The medications will get into the honey! We have no need to medicate because our bees are not sick from being fed sugar or corn syrup.

No Pesticides in Our Honey and Wax!

Because beekeepers feed bees all that toxic junky sugar, the bees can’t defend themselves against the varoa mite.  We’ve seen healthy bees body slam mites–but the sick sugared-up bees are defenseless against the mites so beekeepers but pesticides in the hives to kill the mites.  The residue stays in the wax.  Wax frames are reused by the beekeepers and the pesticides are transferred to honey.  We guarantee we’ll use no pesticides with our bees!

Our Honey is Rich and Healthy Honey

It is a common practice to put bee hives on a large field of one type of crop. This called “mono-culture”. We are against this practice for the same reasons you wouldn’t want to eat nothing but almonds your entire life. Many of these crops are chemical laden and/or GMOs. Our bees have a rich variety of natural desert pollen. Whatever is in season and blooming in the desert near the bees will end up in our honey. Combine this with being 100% raw and you have an incredible product that is medicinal in many ways. Our customers tell us over and over again that our honey was the only thing that cured their allergies.
